Description
The specimen is an irregular lobulated tumour mass which contains a central cystic area lined by
membranous tissue. Sections taken from the mass showed multiple tissue elements. Some of
these elements appeared undifferentiated, however immature bone, neural tissue and
fibrovascular tissue was identified. The features are those of a cervical teratoma.
